Cylinder Piston 084

Anyone know where i can find a cylinder/piston for an 084. New/use oem/aftermarket. Anything but a gulf.

I haven't seen any aftermarket cylinders, but the pistons are around. I wouldn't use them in an 084/088 (same piston) - they are just cheap ovesized 024 pistons! no cast-in heat dissipation rings etc... If you have to buy an OEM cyliner new (there are used cylidner a round, but hard to find..), it comes with a piston . If you can get a good used cylinder, buy an OEM piston.

Well, ebay for a second try. I just bought a new stihl oem cylinder on ebay. Hopefully this sale will work out well, unlike the one that landed me this saw in the first place. Now, a stihl oem piston, and life will be good. Anyone know where I can find one for a good price?

I watched that one too. You know there was one on there for a buy it now for $124.99. Oh well, least you got one for alittle bit more.

I saw that cylinder on there too Juice but didnt mention it to you cause it was e-bay and didnt know if you would wanna go another round with em again. Good luck with the saw.
