I took a little walk with 500,000 new friends a month or two ago and decided that both the foriegn policy and tree care in Washington DC could use some serious upgrading....What do you think???
God Bless All,

Soon to be off topic...

Instead of thinking of this as a war, think of it as removing Suddam Husain from power, like we did with Adolf Hitler. You don't think Husain is a good guy do you? Do you think he's turned over a new leaf? What will Iraq's future be with him in control? How about with Saddam controling nuclear weapons on long range missles? Do you want to live in Isrial once he's equipped? How about once he has nuclear weapons that can be carried in a suitcase? Pretty much won't matter what kind of trees there were in D.C. after that...

Never confuse the federal govt. and the city of Washington DC as being a sole entity. I have dealt with the city govt and school system for many years, and it is the most inept operation possible. I'm sure the "pruning" (and I hate to use that word) contract went to somebody's buddy. I'm also sure it was also a six figure (+) for 3 weeks work.

as far the anti war wienies,
I was working at the Pentagon when the plane hit, and I can still smell it.

9/11/01 3000+ victims, all innocent. DON"T FORGET THAT!

just writing this and editing this picture makes me want to cry.
:angry::angry: :angry: :angry:

Picture;
This the terrorists visiting the pentagon. real picture. 184 dead on impact.

I worked for a local city and we always did large removals in two phases. We brushed them out on the first phase, then a 'wood crew' would go out on Fridays with the crane, dump truck and bucket truck to cut down a bunch of trunks like the one pictured. Stripped trees might stay standing anywhere from a couple days to 3 weeks depending on how many spars we had standing.

This isn't a political forum so I will not comment on that matter.

You can sleep soundly again America...

Our dopey Prime Minister told ABC News over the weekend that there is no need for a war because George Dubya has already beat Saddam. What a simpleton. He has told so many outright lies, half truths and the like in the past I can not believe him on this one.:jester:

Don't blame me, I did not vote for the slime that infests Parliament Hill right now. Yes, there is not much difference between Liberal and Lier, just bal(s). Too bad there was no viable opposition.
