-15 here now. Got it set to 71 degrees. See if the boiler makes it to 7 am and I endure -25. Not a fan of the super cold. But only 48 hours of the crap.

Down to -0 now.Wood furnace kecps it at 74 deg.all the time. Don't worry if I sleep in pellet stove takes over at 72, if pellet stove fails Then main furnace takes over. Staying warm in Mo.

not as cold as gypo but not far off. This was this morning
Almost 35* swing, 56* now, sweating my butt off, Joe.
Yesterday we had about an inch and a half of frozen sleet on the ground. Tried my new/old 8' grader blade on the MF135. It would push up a pile about a foot deep and start spinning. Need chains, tires are not loaded, Joe.
Heard a strange sound at 4:30 this morning... the furnace was on! Had thermostat set on 60, wood stove was down to coals refilled with some red fir and lodge pole and turned it up. Outside temp was -15 f

Only zero today. 15 below yesterday, brrrrrr....
Nice and warm in the cabin as I've been feeding the wood stove during the night. Only bad is that the cold water line to the kitchen sink is frozen. I expect it to unfreeze by Tuesday.

-27 and boiler made it 10.5 hours. Was outside for 10 minutes with decent gloves and the hands are still stinging.

Finally a couple weeks of decent weather. A bit of snow to play in and you can set around inside and out and not need to wear a thong and tank top to keep from having heat stroke. I would tell all you whining sissys to move some place warm but don't think there are enough warm places for all youns.
Looking forward to cut some wood tomorrow and not get ate alive by bugs and skidding logs and not have them covered in fricking mud.

Doesn't play well with others
It hit -1 here earlier this morning. I stoked the fireplace about midnight and again at 5am. The furnace didn't run at all last night, really surprised me. Didn't have any wind, I'm sure that helped.
Getting ready to go block up a bunch of logs.
Other than icy roads, I love winter.

56F out now. Fire is out so I'll give the stove a cleanout before the front comes through this afternoon and drops temps back into the 20s
-19 when I got up.
Just remembered I still have 10w-40 in my Yukon, need to get that changed out!

-7 here winds was blowing last night. Snow packed over ice! We had about 3-4" of snow.Good day to stay in by the fire & get a tan Ha ha! Stay warm....

Doesn't play well with others
3* at the moment and no wind. We got about an inch of snow, over the ice.
I'm headed out now to do some cutting. As long as there's no wind, It's comfortable, at least for me.
