Hi there, my name is Daniel and I have spent my life living in Montréal Québec. My father started cutting trees as a contractor in the seventies and I grew up around the business. I have mostly worked on cutting trees on my land and my family's land and I am interested in preserving our beautiful forests.
There was a big Homelite factory in Pointe Claire, a Montréal suburb for many years and Homelite chainsaws are still very popular around here. I have owned a McCullough saw and several Homelite chainsaws and at present my father and I have about 20 Homelite chainsaws in our collection.
I am a licensed auto technician and my father has been working on cars since before I was born so we have a lot of experience with mechanical work. Now that we're beginning to restore our classic saws we're learning a lot more about two-stroke engines and we are beginning to collect the tools that we need to work on them.
I appreciate being part of this group and I look forward to seeing what it is about.
