I was thinking maybe something like a tick bite got me so sick this summer. I am gradually getting better but the first two weeks..well...50/50 on making it, that's how I felt. The weirdest symptom was everything, I mean everything, tasted sour and bitter to me, even a glass of sweet ice tea tasted bitter, it was horrible. I forced myself to swallow some food every day but it sucked, even water almost tasted terrible, it was bitter.

Food this week almost tastes normal, it is palatable, but I fatigue easy, but at least can do some work now.

I came up with another repellent that is working. I found an empty small spray bottle and filled it with a mouthwash, such as Listerine or equivalent. I spray it on my clothes and exposed arm, neck, ears, etc. The insects don't like it. This seems to work better than Off. I figure I have nothing to lose.

That's what we used on horses to keep chiggers off.

If you get pulled over you'll be doing a breathalizer. They might even check for ticks to see if your telling the truth, that is if he's not laughing too hard!
I had a snake in a paper bag once and a cop wanted to know what was in the bag. I said you aint going to want to open that bag knowing that would arouse his suspicion, so he did and he got a nice surprise. :ices_rofl:
