I have a small Japanese Maple I feel front of my house, cut it back a couple years ago, cut one of the main offshoots because is was impeding on my sidewalk. Tree seemed to be doing just fine until this dormancy season. It’s still warm here in AR, not many trees are losing their leaves but, half the leaves in this tree straight up died, then then about a month later all of them died. The tree didn’t turn red or go through it’s normal dormancy cycle. Half the tree has limbs and shoots that are still pliable, the other half snaps off like firewood. Is there any saving this thing or do you all think it’s KD?
