Determination!

Went camping last weekend and my nephew, all of 10 year old, is playing around with a small hatchet and starts chopping on this log. Dad says I will give you $20 if you cut through, thinking that his money was safe. Well two days and a pile of small chips later, Ben has a fresh new twenty in his blistered hands.

I did that when I was a little older, but no money and a little smaller tree. Had some pretty blisters for a while after that.

Gypos block looked exactly the same way in the Hard hit at Clearwater, although I am sure Ben was faster.

Great Job! He sure did allot of chopin to get that log chipped in half. How big is the log?

Unfortunately we failed to measure it, but I estimate between 18-20 inches.
