Determining saw pitch?

Hello everyone, I recently picked up a 455 rancher that did not come with a bar or chain, I was wondering what the process for determining the pitch would be given that I do not have a bar and chain for it currently to measure against

Should be a .325 if it's stock.

Check the rim/sprocket for pitch verification.

clutch drum should be stamped with chain pitch. You have a blank canvas at this point. You can set it up how you want with the correct parts

.325 .050 gauge number of drivers depends on bar length. Longest bar recommended for that saw is 20 inch.

Just bought a new clutch cover for it, didn't come with that either.

Pulled the rim drive, it's 3/8" pitch. Thanks for the assistance guys.

Yep it’s 3/8” pitch, just looked at a new one on the shelf. 450 is .325 pitch.

Pull the clutch drum, OR rim sprocket, and the ID is right there on the part.........ask if you need ID charts.
