Hated to miss the Ontario GTG, hope a good time was had by all.
Today was quite nice and I needed to get some firewood put up. The 372 was given the day off while the chains are off at the grindhouse. So, I grabbed the jugs, camera, and the Deuce 66 and made for the landing.

YouTube - Deuce 66‏
She was a willing partner and we got some work done, but when the tank ran dry, I found myself standing there with a silly grin...
and decided the Deuce 88 should like to play in the heavier lumber I was digging into.

The 288 and I played some sweet music until it, too, leaned out and died for want of fuel. Another silly grin, yet I hadn't double-fisted magnesium monstrocities out here for nothing. Surely if 88cc can handle things so well, 87 ought to be good enough, yes?

Indeed, it was quite enjoyable, but silly grins often beget maniacal laughter...

Seems the camera simply could not handle the explosive awesomeness of 7.5ci at full song in an honest work setting and shut itself down lest it be found wanting. Following the threat of a tsumami-like visitation on it's existence similar to that seen by its countrymen, it agreed to stop crying and sit still for another go...

I have had the Huskies and the Macs out together several times, but it was always to play around, not get anything done beyond enjoy myself. Today it was all business and no cookies were made. I was well pleased.
Are the old saws heavier? Without question.
Heavy on the vibes? Gave me white knuckles.
Louder? WHAT?!?!
But slower? No, your balls are simply too small.
They may not wind so high, but they make things happen with astonishing torque!
