What do you think of the newer Dewalt 12 or 14 inch electrics??? I would use it only for 5-8 inch lodgepole. Is it much quieter?? thats a factor... How do you like it??

A friend has a 14" DeWalt he's quite happy with. I have an 18v Ryobi brushless 12" saw. I love it. I often scrounge blowdowns in neighborhood suburban parks & to me it's perfect.

I got the 620P with the 12 inch bar. Its good but has Very slow chain speed and the safety trigger sucks. But it works for what I need.

We got a new Stihl tsa 230 cut-off at work and I was very disappointed, it is not in the same league as Dewalt,we sent it back as it is useless to us. Push on it at all and it stops. Can't believe Stihl is that far behind Dewalt on this one.As a long time Stihl chainsaw user and former 30+ yrs. as a logger it was a huge letdown.
