Here is my policy:

Do it your-selfer: quote chips removal as adder
Aristocrat: include chips removal in price
Dumpy yard: no chips , no adder, bare bones bid, rake and gone.
Tree service: rake and gone unless requested to, add 25.00 to each stump for removal of chips(depending on size of stump).

I want to offer the topsoil and seeding but I'm very busy grinding the stumps and that afterall is what I get paid the most to do.

I just about willing to do any kind of work for the rite price anyways. They want me to haul the grindings away then they are going to pay the price for it. And the clock doesn't stop when I leave their property. I have to taking account my time to deal with the grindings after I leave their property. Like I told my wife " I may be easy, but im not cheap!!!!"......Rob

I have recently gotten a stump grinder. I offer total clean up and seeding. To clean up the stump grindings I use my grapple truck with a clam shell grapple. Put some dirt in it near the front of the bed pull up to the stump pick up the stump grinding set the to the rear of the bed. Once you get the hang of it you can really cleand out a hole and see if there is any stump left. Then pick up a load of dirt out of the truckand drop it in the hole. YES, there are limits where you can get the truck to. In hard to reach areas load mulch into wheel barrow dump at location the you can get truck to the pick up with grapple. Next pick up dirt out of truck drop into wheel barrow directly then put in hole. I have found the grapple truck is no harder on the lawn then anything else. Sometimes better than a loader because you only drive across the yard once. On stumps larger than 20 inches I can cleanup and replace dirt faster than it took to grind the stump. Anyone else use a set up like this?
