Guess what ran circles around what? A really nice fellow at work offered to help me cut some wood this afternoon and brought an 064AV that he said he last fired up 3 years ago. I was interested in seeing what it would do. It wasn't in top shape, chain brake lever missing, hairline crack in the oil tank that seeped bar oil, plugged air filter, carb adjustment holes plugged with sawdust, etc etc. It did have a freshly sharpened chain on it and did hold it's own even in it's state of disrepair, but the 361 owned it this evening. I might buy him a new air filter, clean it up and get it tuned up for him. I'd like to see what it will do afterwards. There's no way my little 59cc saw should take it in 20" wood. I told him that if he ever wanted to sell it, that I would like to restore it. What do you think a saw like that would be worth?

You can't weld/braze magnesium can you? Doesn't seem logical that you could. I'm thinking about that oil tank crack.
