I recently had an opportunity to buy a 2008 Vermeer SC352 diesel. I bought it to use on a project and then had planned to sell it (opting to keep my 2003 Carlton 2500-4), but a friend of mine has expressed an interest in the Carlton. So, I'm thinking of selling him the Carlton and keeping the Vermeer. The Vermeer has only 340 hours on it. What is the overall opinion of the later model 352s (as compared to the questionable reputation of the earlier ones)??

One of the two guys i sub grinding to has an 07. It works good plenty fast. Seems to be holding up well. only problem we've had with it is that the starter siezed once, and it's a bitz to get to to put a hammer on it, let alone change it out.

Come on guys!!! Give me some feedback!!

Sheeeeeesh, any one have some experience with these late model units?
