Do I have the option, opportunity to change decomp to push like the 125, (pic is a s797)is one as good as the other. Taking it down soon.

Short answer is there is no easy way to convert the 797 to a pop up compression release.
The hard way requires plugging the existing DSP port and adding a port for the pop up in the head.
Some McCulloch saws used a pop up compression release in the area of your current DSP valve (PM650, PM800) so that might be an option if there is sufficient material around the hole to tap it to 3/8-24.
Then you need to find a pop up valve with the correct reach.
