Do they make the rope connector I am looking for?

I am ordering a couple of new biners that I need and was thinking that I would like to have a rope snap for my spliced eye climbing rope. I have been using it with a biner but it's kind of a pain to unclip with a triple locking biner. I much prefer the double locking snaps but I haven't seen any that you can attach to a spliced eye. Does such an animal exist?

I only see two options....

Girth the snap to your spliced eye, or

Splice the snap in when you do the splice.

That being asked, I have been girth hitching my rope snap on to my spliced eye lanyard and I like it. Especially when I can take the snap off to pull the lanyard through crotches that the snap would get caught in.

Great idea fellas, I think I'll order one and give it a try. The double locking snaps are so much quicker to unsnap one handed.

You might consider a screw link.

That is what the Mallion Rapide is, though the MR is always man-rated. From what I've been told it is a CE standard term.
