I made a post on SH under the user name hoghunter and also on the Forestry Forum but I think it got moved and buried there. I don't remember if i put one on chainsawrepair under "bustedknuckles". I don't know what FHC is.

Because I don't like making too broad of an internet presence. If someone collects data here and there they can put together a profile on someone pretty easily so I don't use the same user name in multiple places. It's an internet security thing and may or may not be effective but it's what I do. It's the same reason I don't use my real name on forums. I have enough online presence as it is without adding to it.

Some people "poison" their online presence, like ridiculous searching for stuff you don't need, use random keywords in emails and posts, purposely mist spehl lotza thinguez, and various other stuff lak dat dere.

Think I have the elusive big wood pinned down. Gonna have to get my Stihl 070 with the 41" bar put back together to make it transportable. Details later.

Ok, I completed the battle to put rubber hose over the 070 top handle. I started that project about half a year ago. I also put a new tip on the bar as the other one had buggered up. I then disassembled the old tip sprocket, found out what the issue was, repaired it and someday plan to put that back together along with its 50 or so little bitty bearings. Maybe I should have tried repairing that first?
Anyway, long and knuckle busting story short, the 070 is back in service and perhaps tomorrow or Saturday I will go visit a fallen tree...

Collected some more wood this afternoon. There has been a logging operation going on that has hindered me from transporting trailer loads of logs from where I cut them to the GTG site (even though it's just a few hundred yards)
So today my groundie and I moved some logs. She got some pics.
