Does anyone know the part number for the duckbill valve on the wet end of a poulan 3400/3700/4000 fuel tank vent? It does not appear in any of the IPL's I could find. Thanks for your help.:greenchainsaw:

I just checked out a few IPLs with that tank assembly 530010286. I could not find it either. I will look through the microfiche tomorrow to see if I can find it for you. I can't see them changing it up to a tank assy for a simple vent.

Well, as my first post here, I will say that I have a Poulan 3400 that I bought used about ten years ago. I thought it was getting kind of run down recently, but after putting on a new bar and adjusting the carb, I cut through some 16-18" live oak and it ran great. kind of heavy, but I like it.

I am not 100% sure but I think that it is the same one used on the 3450. I have attached an IPL for you to verify. The part number is 530026119. This valve is used on many EHP saws and trimmers. I hope that this helps!

I have a Poulan 3700. The gas tank vent line is a short piece of hose that dead ends under the ignition switch. Nothing in the service manual or IPL's about a duck bill valve. But I did put a small piece of filter media in the end of the line.

I don't know if that style will work... the 3400/3700/4000 shares the 375/385/395 poulan pro's gas tank as many other parts but those ipls are no help either. The 3450 ipl looks similar to the husky 136 or 141 to me.
There is a check valve on the tank vent I saw mine briefly [looked like a duckbill] before it slimed away in my fingers. Something has to be there to break the vacuum in the fuel tank but not allow fuel to expand and burp out the vent into the case when it gets warm.

Thanks, that's a good part number and is the exact replacement.
