Does anyone use a atv, small tractor to pull a pull behind stump grinder around yards. This seems like it would be cheaper then buying a self propelled stump grinder and less maintenance. If so could you post ur pictures.

How much does your grinder weigh.
I used to pull my chipper (2,000 lbs.) around tight areas with an atv, but sold the atv when I purchased a mini skidsteer. The mini was a lot better at...... Well everything.
You may want to consider a mini skid, would come in handy for moving the grindings.

if the atv could actually pull it thats great but when your grinding an atv does not have enough weight to allow the stumper to move forward ours pushes a 3/4 ton pickup around sometimes if your not on solid clean pavment. but we are using a big tow behind vermeer 752?? if you had the smallest tow behind I could see it possibly working just for reference though my 12hp lawn tractor will pull our 18 ft 2500lb boat across the front yard yard
