I have a real nice Dolmar 115 (around 52cc's) chainsaw with a new 16" bar and chain. I bought this saw from Tony M (a dolmar dealer who used to frequent AS) around the first of the year. I'm asking $175 shipped for the powerhead, 16" bar and chain, file, bottle of 2 cycle oil, and a scrench. Thanks to Ben aka Northwest Chainsaw for hosting the pics.

Here are the specs on the saw

hey Brad, how are you? I picked up a 111 cheap off ebay some time ago, and am about to get it running, just needed a piston. From the looks of the IPL's, I can't tell what the differences are between it and the 115, besides the considerable power difference. Looks like they might take the same jug and carb? Do you know...? maybe the 115 is closed port..or just has a better muffler. I have already opened the 111 muffler up quite a bit....Nice light saw! I imagine it will be way behind my ehp 5100... but that is to be expected!

The 111 and 115 are the same saw from my findings. The main difference is that the 111 is an open port with a solid piston and the 115 is closed with windows in the piston for fuel delivery. The 115 revs a tad higher because of the porting.

They use the same chassis as the 109 and 110. Same deal there, 109 is open port and 110 is closed. I wish I would have kept my 110 and played with it. It was a screamer out of the box with the muffler modded. I have never been impressed with a stock 43cc saw like I was with that one.

I have a 111, that I made into a 115, but need to get a piston for it. I screwed it up trying to mod it. lol. Good, fun, light saws. I also aquired an "extra" 11 parts saw. Let me know if you need anything other than the piston. I may have it. lol.
