ok i have a couple questions on the crank seals for the 123/309... well the 123 part number from dolmar says that the seal dimensions are 17/30/7. well after tearing apart a 123 the actual dimensions on the seal in the saw was 20/30/7.
the measurement on the crankshaft is roughly 16.7 mm. meaning that its probably more like 17mm. no way is it close to 20mm. also have to consider that the oiler gear is the reason for the 20mm seal. if this seal is to be a 17mm as dolmar calls for the oiler gear will not fit.
my main goal here is to try and find seals for my 309. and going off the dolmar part number the 17/30/7 seal should work fine. but if a guy is to try and run new 123 seals what should he use? DOES ANYONE have a grasp on this/?????
