Cool I've been in mountain home many times trout fishing. I live in Fort Smith and grew up east of here. Caught this guy in March 2014 around cotter. View attachment 374911
It is a shame we live here so close to the rivers and lakes and never take advantage of them. We just see them every day. I am glad you enjoy them. Keep coming back. That is a great trout.

I have a 2009 Dolmar 5100S that is ported and polished with the new 5gram lighter piston in it w maybe 3 hrs of run time. Muffler was the first year of the stainless steel cat muffler but that was taken care of as well. I has a Oregon 16" 3/8" X .050 bar with three chains. I also put the de comp in the cylinder the last time it was off. Let me know.

Who ported this saw?

Damn! Nice fish. I have to drive 5+ hours to the mountains to have a chance at trout that size. Haven't been for several years now due to not having a lot of time for stuff other than work. I do have access to a small local dam that has some large rainbows but mums the word on that!

ozark-2, I have 2 5105's with stock cylinders but both with cat removed and a muff mod. Strong build quality and they are fantastic runners. Excellent Torque for a 50cc saw. I can only guess how much better they are ported. Best of luck with your saw purchase.
