20140622_161228.jpg 20140622_161217.jpg This is a dolmar 6400 in 7900 clothes. The saw was a 7900 but I attempted to port the cylinder and it didn't turn out that great. I threw a OEM 6400 p/c on it as a replacement. Saw is used but runs well. The kill switch tab is broke off and it leaks oil. $325 shipped OBO

I've had three Dolmar/Makita saws, they all leaked a lot of oil from the same place... The oil line/pickup tube that goes inside the tank. You have to remove the clutch and pull the oiler to get the lines out, but it's a fairly simple job. If it has black oil lines, those are the old (leaky) ones, the updated lines are green... About $25 shipped from another member here.

P/N: 038 245 020 is the oil line kit that has the line and screen inside the tank. $14.32 for it.

P/N: 038 245 061 is the oil line from the pump to bar mounting pad. It is $7.26.

And the switch is easy. Just pop it out with a screwdriver and swap it with a new one. I like to flip mine over so that off is to the right, just like on a Husky. That makes it easier to not flood my Dolmar. They're about $10.

I'm kinda a dumpster diver for Dolly parts... What did you do with the 7900 cylinder? I might be able to machine it and take a look at the port work. It would give me something to fiddle with anyhow if you're just going to throw it out..??? :)

Thanks for the info on the parts!
