I had finished this saw a while back but I hadnt cut with it yet. Yesterday I did and I was very happy with it. Its light weight, much lighter than the 021 I had and the dolmar has a mag case and bolt on jug. It has all new anti-vibe mounts, and the usual items like fuel lines and carb kit. It revs right up and made strong cuts in the oak and maple I had. I do need a new chain for it.

Nice job! Looks to be in great shape. That mess in the pic with the 540 looks like a lot of fun :dizzy:.

I like your 'if I was a normal firewood cutter' comment. Made me think about owning way more saws than I need. Oh well, it is what it is.

Thanks guys. The 410 was salvaged from the junkyard along with another one. It was very dirty, and Id say its life was not easy judging from the torn up av mounts and amount of dirt. It was professionally used but at least they used good mix cause the p/C are perfect.
The 540 is the only saw Ive bought new and it was a great deal. $350 for the saw, a case, 2 bars 2 chains and a scabbard. MY favorite 50cc class saw.
Funny thing about the 540 is that until I found this site, that saw and my Dads S25da were the only saws I thought Id ever need:cheers:
