Well RPM is only relative to the finish on the crank shaft. RPM eats seals when they get dry or melts them from excessive heat and barely any lube like sheilded bearings. Four cylinder case pulses increase like in Harley Vtwin. Not sure if they have spring backed seals in all of those. I'm sure the new stuff does. Seal updates are always a winner.And lower rpm right.
