Are you using a surfactant in the water? That unit looks very powerful. On weaker models, putting the items in a liquid-filled glass jar may reduce the efficiency somewhat.

I have one a little larger than that one and it gets a lot of use
I use awesome in mine , a dollar a bottle at the dollar store

Na nothing in the water, I think it’s a fairly good one, here is the link. I paid $300 for it, seems they’ve gone up a lot.

I grabbed this one a few months ago. It looks almost identical to the one @Vintage Engine Repairs owns, with the exception of the stickers and a capacity. I wish I grabbed the 10L, but I'm just a home wannabe repair guy. Just as the case is with many Chinese made items, they're probably made in the same factory and then rebranded.

Anyways, what do you guys use in these that's gentle for parts? Is LA's totally awesome corrosive?
