Don't waste your money!

Whatever you do, don't buy chinese coils, I've had 3 go bad in just a few months. My plug was new and gapped properly, the wires were new, they just die-no spark, they test "open" with a meter.-Oh, and the air gap was set right

I agree but a little more info needed like make, model and year may help. Newer electronic coils don't test well if at all with a multimeter.

Its a Stihl ms251c about 6 yrs old
