Started yesterday with an almost new chain dropped and bucked 4 trees without issue 5th one sits back on the bar. Wedged it over without incident. Bucking it up hit something smoked the left side cutters called it a day. This morning gave the chain a good hand filing test cut saws ripping. Finish the tree i left from yesterday go to drop the last one in the area dead standing oak weighted totally the wrong way from where I want. No big deal just drop it where it wants to go just means more lugging the rounds out. Goes over without a hitch. Start bucking 3rd cut in near the top hit something may have been the ground not sure. Give the chain a quick file on the stump cutting fine. 3rd to last cut must be something metal in the tree saw just starts blowing dust cutters on both sides smoked. Back to the garage to give it a good file in the vise. Needless to say went from an almost a new chain and im just about to the witness marks on 6 trees in less than 8 hours cutting tonight's adult beverage is tasting mighty good
