I was with you, and know exactly what you were saying. I don't think that Sears has made anything for many years. But things may have been different at other times. I did not know about the other DB branded stuff, or the merger with Roper until I rooted around a bit. It's on The Internet, so it must be true . . . .

Man.. I want one.. Reckon you could space them bars about 24 inches apart??

I have one of their walk behinds. It is not the one pictured, but it looks just like it. I have the sickle mower attachment and a plow that I believe is a 10". They are bulletproof, with a monster cast gear case and cast iron briggs model n one and a half horse engine, some of them had a little continental engine instead. They made an array of attachments for them, many more than what is shown in the picture, even a buzz saw. :)
