Drum Chipper Bearings??

I am needing a set of Drum bearings for my Altec/ Asplundh 12" Chipper. Does anyone have any ideas where to buy and what is a rough price guess? and I'm still looking to but a manual for it.

Any good bearing place can match the bearings. I use motion industries here in Maine and they can get about any bearing. You do not need part number as they can measure it. Good Luck

I was quoted $400 per side carry out price. I thought that sounded a bit steep.

Our chipper bearings were a little more than that. One more reason to keep them greased.

Off hand, that sounds mighty high. I paid $89.27 each for drum bearing from a Morbark supplier for my 2070. I'd check around a bit.

My bearings are non greaseable. Asplundh/Altec 12" Drum Chipper.

The Jap made bearings are cheaper but will not last as long.
