The negative tooth is actually the same tooth in the other pic , i just took the picture at angle to show how much more material id have to remove to get the deep hook. The tooth you inverted is an optical illusion because the blade is off the bar and propped up... it doesn't look that bad, they all basically look like this tooth. And of course my phone flips the pic.....

Yes its easy to get fooled by the angle.
Whatever they are they do look like they need a some work to get into shape.

Well I popped my cherry today after work on a small 48" × 20" bitternut hickory log, saw kinda bogged down due to not clearing chips fast enough, i had to hold it back, it wanted to run forward pretty hard....Do they make a full skip ripping chain and would you guys recommend it?
