just curious i have a sp125c with a dual port muffler and my other 125c has a single port was just wondering if anybody new if this was a factory option. the other thing is that the dual port muffler will not allow you to bolt on a heat sheild.and all the sp125s ive seen have a heat sheild.:greenchainsaw: also does anyone know what stock compression was on these saws.

Got a pic? I have never seen a dual-port 125 muffler. Just the single port on my SP125C and the kart style on my CP125 (which is really just a spark arrestor.)

What heat shield are you referring to? I'm looking at the IPL and the only thing I can think of is the shroud over the cylinder. If this is what you mean, then I doubt the dual-port is factory.

I do not know what the factory compression is but I am guessing around 170-189psi. Mine has a lot of hours, and has 150 psi. On the duel port, the microfiche it did not show one.

i have seen round mufflers for the MC101 kart engines by JEM, could it be one of those?
