Emerald ash borer has apparently entered my area. i have very little knowledge of this insect seeing as how it wasnt even taught in college(forestry) because it wasnt around. does anyone have any pictures of characteristics that arborists would use to aid in recognition......damage and whatnot.

ive been wanting to attend a tradeshow since before i ever started trimming. i wouldnt mind a little roadtrip, but milwaukee is a hike and a half

lol. i would leave that conference wanting every single thing. right now im learning to improvise with what i got (natural crotch, treemaster rope). i would definately be light in the wallet after seeing all the gear.

I'd also warn that if you didn't do your research on EAB before going to a trade show, you might end up leaving with pricy treatment tools that really don't do a much better job (and maybe more harm?) than a simple soil drench...

So you do not like the Arbor-Jet I take it?

The drill size does bother me.

TREEazin is a product that the ministry of natural resources uses in canada. does anyone have experience with this injectible product?

Do you know what the chemical (active ingredient) is? I have not heard of it - maybe it is the same chemical as a product we are familiar with but labeled under a different brand UpNorth.
