Had a nice easy day on Friday, strung a few jobs together and they all had crane access. Took out a dozen cocos palms in under an hour to kick the morning off. Set the chains from the ground, one cut, straight into the chipper. Wasn't even anything to clean up.
Morning tea, then a cypress. Straight up on the hook, rig and cut, rig and cut...
Off to the 3rd job, a big eucalypt. Would have been a nightmare rope down, took the whole thing out on 8 hits. Didn't even raise a sweat. Had to take my phone up with me so I would have something to do while waiting for my next ride. I could really turn into a fat bastard doing crane removals.
