Anybody ever see a fkin duck like this? I chased him down the creek on bike as never seen anything so incredible in flight over the water. White wings and part white head with contrast.

I wish I could get a crane for the tree I've got latter this morning. Huge white oak with giaint spread...half of it already busted off (twin oak, codom, whatever) and we cleaned that up. Now they want the other half down, problem is its a line tree and theyre both so old and broke that a crane is not an option. They are splitting the cost of 3000 - I would have loved to get 4500, but work is nice too.

Sent the boys to pick up some wood from another job so lose ends are tied up when I start this one and nobodys nagging me - this gives me time to mentally prep for today. This just came in yesterday and I was almost out of work, so its sort of sudden. This one scares me a bit and it dwarfs my bucket so it looks like its climb time. Wish me luck.

Took a 4 hour vacation today that was to be Sun.

Stopped to take a whiz. Not much traffic out here.

they sure look better than they used to.that 675 or whatever it is is nasty looking.

It is not quite as big or rotatable as it looks Fishercat. Boom kinda enters the bucket and it is U shaped. Plenty of room for big saw and/or wood tho.

It is a little 1050, 136 hp, will quarter in high 10's. Real light and you can throw it around in the corners.

I hear you, last year I hit a deer at almost 60 mph but using treeman grip, held on and didn't go down but bike (and deer) took some heavy damage.

ADKPK, that was actually in Brookville Indiana but we have some pretty spots nearby here in cinci and I will post a few in future.

I lived in upstate NY (Batavia/Wyoming NY) and NYC subs (Mamaroneck and Scarsdale) as a kid. Some pretty country there as well, esp. upstate NY, my fav of anywhere.

How'd that job go today MDS? Any picts?

Job was done yesterday. Five hours the first day, ten yesterday - 3K.

MDS and co. did not dissapoint. I ended up getting the worst of it that first day and and then coming back to finish her off with style the next.

Right on schedule, two days pretty much.

I have some pics...give me some time and I'll eventually figure out the posting thing. There is also a vid of the butt log drop that is pretty cool - the new groundie is a natural with my camera, It's like he went to school for that $hit or something! He's all like zooming in and out and panning around and whatnot. Pretty cool.
