Can anyone please tell me if the exciter and ignition module are the same for the Echo 650 and 660? Looking for the module for a 650.

You can go to the Echo web site and download the IPL,s for both saws and compare part numbers.

Tried that and I get a blank page instead of the pdf file opening. I downloaded the latest Adobe reader and still nothing. I'm able to load pdf files from other sites. Anyone else having this problem?

The saws part numbers do not match for the module or coil. The files opened - no problem.

They are different coils, but will swap in.

Dang coils are the achilles heel of the EVL series

Thanks. I just did a system restore and the files now open from the website. Must have had a bug in my system.
