How does this rubber piece fit in with the chain break? It fell out and i have no idea how it goes back in. 32 on diagram.

Early Echo chainbrake is overly complicated. Maybe your #28 "connector" is installed backwards, wrong-face-out? IPL shows the "connector" big peg pointing outwards and the narrower pointy leg pointing forward.

Looks like the coil spring tensions the # 26 "stopper" to hold it against a short little pin on the #28 "connector" Looks like that little pin fits into a notch on the "stopper" when chainbrake in engaged.

Echo calls the #32 part a "reset Tubber". Guessing that the "reset tupper" somehow rotates #26 "stopper" so that the notch on the "stopper" moves down to release the little pin on #28 "connector". HIIK. See attached.

But I cannot see how the "reset tupper" works between the "stopper" and the "connector". Sorry can't help there.
