Any of yall got any experience with the new echo bearcat chippers. I do biz with a friends kubota dealership in knoxville and they carry them. They've got kubota turbocharged diesels, so i know the motors are good, but haven't ran one and wanted to know how they stack up against the others. I'm interested in their 12" model.:monkey: Any info on the subject is appreciated! Thanks

I have wondered the same thing. I actually posted the same question before and I didnt get any responses. Hopfully someone replys here. Do you know what the 12" cost? Also, what kind of hp do they have?

I believe the 12" is a 98 hp turbocharged engine and def is a kubota. I think last yr they wanted 26k list for the 12". My friend bought a new bandit 12" couple yrs back, like 10 hrs on it due to demoing unit and only payed like 20k, give or take some change. The bandit will pull a house and chip it to bits, so for what they're askin for the echo it better be a bad ars machine. I'll demo one sometime and let ya know. I know the owners of the place and have bought prev equip from them and they always have good financing and just so happens they carry the echo, so why not give it a try? Will let ya know.
