Echo CS 400 Bar Options

The bars arrived today. I am impressed with the Woodland Pro bars. They seem well made. I made a short video. Still on the first tank of fuel so I have her on the rich side. Oh and this is with a new stock chain. They dont cut that great until the 2nd or 3rd grid.

I own the following saws: Stihl 018, Stihl MS-362, Stihl MS-441, Echo CS-330T, Echo CS-400, Echo CS-490, and Echo CS-590.

At my age I find myself reaching for the MM'ed CS-400 WAY more than any saw I own, although I've only recently gotten the CS-490 and am sorta thinking that will be the one in the end that I gravitate to.

I'm far from a pro, so take it for what it's worth - but I really have a hard time finding fault with my Echo lineup. They just start easy every single time, and as long as the chain is sharp they cut anything I need generally.

Echo stuff is 50 percent off at Rural King. All the saws are gone, couple trimmers left, plenty of accessories.

I picked up two bars about half hour ago, 14" 3/8" LP and 18" .325" 72DL.......

Unless you're dead set on Oregon, Bailey's has a B&C combo that I use and like on my CS-400.

It's a 16" WoodlandPRO Arbormax bar and semi chisel chain.

Can you tell me the number on that WoodlandPRO Arbormax bar. i have the same saw.

I just ordered one, their chain prices for woodland pro chains aren’t too bad either. I also have an Echo CS 400, hope it works out.
