One came up for sale near me for 100 bucks. Looks to be in great shape and the owner says it runs good.

I've never ran one but if in great shape I would say yes. I think they sold new for around 400 to 450.

I have one. It was a basket case when I bought it. I gave it some TLC and it's extremely reliable. It is definitely worth that price. It's reliable and productive enough for me to use it in a tree, chunking down big wood. That's one place you need the saw to start first pull.

I ended up getting it, it needs a chain. But it runs just as described. I’m excited to see how it cuts

Those saws are pretty average from the factory. Doing a muffler mod put them in beast mode.

I bought one new in 2009 shortly after their release. Still have it, use it, its cut a fair amount of wood over the years. For $100 id buy another. 18” bar on mine. With the 18” bar i find readily available chains, 72 DL,..050, .325
