I've got a crummy local dealer that I refuse to go to for Echo parts and I'm trying to get my Dad's two 425 EVL's up and going for him. Can any one point me in the right direction for online purchases? I only need a couple of AV mounts and some small odds and ends.

And for the first time Ebay has let me down for even used parts.

Have you tried calling Bailey's? They might be able to order your parts for you if they are available. Bob Wright is the Echo specialist here on AS. Hopefully he will have an answer for you.

The AS instant email notification sent me 30 identical messages informing me that Mow had posted a response in this thread. The notification system must have felt that it was very important.:D

Usually, but not always and maybe sometimes :rockn:

Off topic short de-rail, thats interesting Urbicide, around the same time yesterday while on site my PC went nuts, flickering cursors, lots a noise etc, shut it all down and did a full scan, nada, couple of trackin cookies. Two days ago while I was on AS my firewall logged a portscan attack but I don't think thats related.
We now return to our regularly scheduled topic -Echo Parts- for which I have no answer (we do have a small engine guy who sells them here tho) :D

Use partstree to find the part numbers, then support your local hardware store instead of UPS. I do, even though it's an ACE ;)

Thanks for all the help fellas.

That's a good idea lake, I would do that if the parts were still availible. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

I messed up anywhoo, they are 452 vl's and I need the upper AV mounts for both saws.

Maybe I'll just get him a wildthing.

:D
