Echo Timberwolf chain/bar issues

Looking at the picture of the saw with the bar off it looks like the chain may have contacted the metal plate where the bar mounts next to clutch sprocket.

The chain should have no damage at all being new, the only thing I can think is that who ever assembled the saw at the store messed it up

I wasn’t sure if I was seeing things with getting older. Next question ,is there something causing the metal plate not to lay flat?

Those burrs were created somehow but for now I would just make sure they are cleaned up.

Does the chain pitch and bar pitch match?

Does the chain slide in the bar before installing on the saw?

Is there slack or is the chain tension too tight when installrd?

This is the chain that comes with the saw?

Are you installing the bar with the echo logo right side up or upside down? As pictured the chain is installed backwards?
