I worked with a company that had a 6700 once. Poorly maintained, needed some TLC. Stalled when hot, it had been drug through heck. Only a year old, too. I never used it except once. I had an 038Magnum for my crew. The one time I used it, it ran OK, but I was just trying to finish a job and didn't consider cleaning it up and servicing it to see how it would run. (I'm a control freak. If I haven't serviced it, I don't run it.)

big echo

When I worked in the Marine Construction Industry, my boss had an echo 8000 w/ 20" bar. This saw cut pressure treated piles and timbers all day, every day. (14" to 18 " diameter).. It even took a dip in the Long Island Sound (salt water). It never missed a beat!
Only negative comment it was a slow saw, tons of torque, average speed. I run one now in my tree business with a 28" bar, it gets the job done.
