Efco stock carb settings.

I just got a 132s Efco top handle with a walbro carb and need to know what the stock carb settings are. Got it to pop once or twice but can't get it started long enough to tune the carb. I did a muffler mod and pulled the limiter caps so take that into account... Seems like the H&L were both out 3 full turns or more...

Try 1 to 1.5 turns out, that should get it running long enough to fine tune her.

on most anything,
my default is one and a quarter open, on both needles
and as said above should get things started.

Quite a few of the newer carbs need 3 1/2 to 4 turns out when tuned good, start at 4 1/2 then go back in. Steve

H 4-1/8 plus/minus 1/8

This is factory setting.

I was pulling 140psi cold so hopefully a new piston and rings won't be necessary...

Dang, is all of my junk that old ?!
looked at a couple of my needles and 4 turns (off the shoulder) has the taper out of the passage
and almost not even in the circuit any more.

well tag me as obsolete and read me for entertainment I guess.

Yes its true. Some Redmax saws were in the 3 turn range also.

So are some Homelites. Homelite BP180 if I remember right it's been a while.
