I agree the egan design is on my 400C. It works really well and is better quality than the ECS/Red beard. I had several WCS/redhead filters come apart. WCS was good about warranty and I understand they upgraded the glue, but I am just not confident in them anymore.I know them both and in my group. Me if I were picking for my saws. I like the Egan design ones myself.
I just think they would flow better if done on a dyno and they be easier to clean too by design.

Foam is the way to go for a chainsaw and the Egan design is very well engineered.Guy that tortured tested a 362/400 egan filter.
125 hours of run time since last cleaning. Belray filter oil, can't say for sure how many gallons of fuel in that time.
Jason - What guys don’t understand is that the extremely dirty foam filter will flow better than a clean oem filter.
