Was wondering if any one knows if I'm able to put a aluminum ring on my rope bridge. And how I would go about it. Only been climbing 6 months and trying to customize it to make it work better for me.

If it's the same one I have just untie the double overhand knot on one side of the bridge, slide the ring on, and retie. Mine has the little plastic sleeves on the ends of the rope to mark the minimum safe tail length.

It has a shackle on each end so could I just unscrew it and slide it on the put the shackle back on

I would think so if it looks like it'll just unscrew but I'm actually not sure from the picture, that is completely different than my Ergolite Spartan.

It sounds like you know how. So is your question "is it safe?"? Yes...if you are using an appropriately rated ring, there is no reason you can't put a ring on the rope bridge

Is a swivel worth it? I don't seem to get twisted around at the bridge too much, but maybe I don't know what I am missing?! I certainly am glad I paid extra for the swivel on the ART Positioner for my lanyard...

Meh, people are always raging about it, and it is cool, but if you already have a system you like it's probably just fine. Hey ATH, you always seem to show up in these informed like threads, one might think you know a thing or two already!
