Been a while since i posted here brought a case 21 ton excavator for large tree removal and it came with a good range of buckets so can do house site cuts digging etc.You will notice in the pictures(some are crappy cell phone pics)that i put a full cabin guard ROPS roll over protection FOPS falling objects protection on it and a new log grab. Its made things lots easier without having to hire people and if i can get the machine to a site to load all the big wood out.

Nice machine you have there. Even with the added cab protection watch out for small stuff getting thru. Knew a man that had a totaly caged JD450 dozer was pushing brush had a stick go thru a small slot in the engine shield. Poked a hole in the oil filter. Strange things can happen.

Nice ride! I don't any experience with an excavator that size but I do with both 30,000 and 50,000 lb machines. Be very careful you don't push too hard and break the tree off where the bucket contacts the trunk. That could be the end of your new toy and the end of you. I think there are pics of a crushed excavator here on AS but I couldn't find them.
