I'm thinking of getting a winch for my rayco rg100. There is a receiver tube in the scrape blade so I'd make it removeable. The idea is for when I get stuck or go down a steeper slippery grade. I may or may not need to use it so it's hard to spend 1200 on a warren or ramsey. Anyone try the cheaper ones you see on ebay or liquidators websites? How much winch do I need? I'm thinking 9,000 lb would be plenty? Thanks

Cheap in winches really is wasted money imo.

Look for a cheap used 'milemarker' hydraulic. More than enough winch for what you need, and you can get them used for under $100. You'll spend more on getting the bits to plumb it into the hydraulics. You might want to mount it permanently to save some $ on quick disconnects.
