I have a job to clear underbrush on large property (mostly volunteer mulberry, cotoneaster, and plum bush amongst desireable locust). I am looking for a tree mower to rent. Space between valued trees would only accomodate a skidloader. I was thinking a Fecon brand or some other brand. I live in eastern Nebraska so have little access in this area to someone who owns and would sub-contract for me. Any ideas? Does anyone want to come to Nebraska for a day with a mower? Any alternative to clearing understory. Timely advice would be much appreciated.

JPS:

How much did it cost? Rent by the day? Was it skidloader mounted? How deep does is churn dirt? Will it damage underlying locust roots?

Thanks,

Steven.
