the voices in my head tell me to buy chainsaws
I know I have seen there are folks here that make nice felling dogs. I need some and am willing to pay.
shoot me a price for PAIRS for theses saws please ms440 (1 set), 046 (2 sets), 064 (2 sets) to zip 43213, no giant hurry, 3 of the 5 saws are gonna have a little bench love before they are ready to cut wood again.
many thanks
Dave

I have made some in the past, but only copies of ones I had. If you know where I could get a drawing (blueprint or CAD) I could knock a few out of stainless for you. Otherwise if you could tell me hole spacing and diameter within 1mm tolerance I could send you copies of the big ones that come on Dolmar 7900s, which I always thought were stylishly aggressive, with said mounting holes of coarse.

I could probably send you spikes that fit easier than I could come up with any kind of meaningful drawing :)
I'll have to check out the 7900s.
I did send a message to 406 as well.
thanks

Any interest in OEM? Also, are you looking for the appropriate fasteners as well?

If you find someone D.D could you let me know who you went with . I would like to get a set for 361 , 440 , 064 and possibley a 036 .
I like they idea of setting them in a log without the need for log vise for filing .
I do think the makiTa style look wicked !

I picked up an OEM pair for one of the 046s and strangely they didn't match each other and seemed smallish. My main thought for bigger saws used for felling and those for resale is that bigger is better and it seems like they should match, though maybe that is faulty thinking. I was intending to ask vendors privately, but since there is interest:: Why are aftermarket dogs more expensive than OEM? Bigger, more badass, better metal?
