How do you go about cleaning them so nicely?

I clean them all before I take them down. Compressed air the heavy crap off. Then paint brush and straight Dawn. Let sit for a bit. Hose it off. Compressed air dry Then every thing gets lubed carb cleaned etc. get it running and a parts list. (As the 5-30 sits)

Then if painting, Citri Strip let set for an hour. Presser wash. Compressed air dry

Thank you for that. I do have some dawn in the shop and have some saws to clean up starting tomorrow. I'll see how it goes.

I take mine apart after, so if you’re going to wash them. Remember to lube things up after. (Clutch drum bearing, linkages,recoil shaft, etc.) Dawn strips all the oil.

Starter cable n handle
Tank gasket set
Tilly hp6 diaphragm
20”ish bar n chain.
2 bolts
